What is CBD?
CBD is an abbreviation of cannabidiol, the non-psychoactive compound that naturally occurs in the hemp plant. CBD oil works with receptors in the body, called the endocannabinoid system, to produce a whole host of positive effects. CBD oil has been clinically proven to improve moods, regulate appetite, boost cognitive function, and even inhibit the body’s pain response.
Does CBD get me high?
Our CBD oil products are tested to assure that they contain less than 0.3% THC by volume. Users won’t experience any psychoactive effects. In short – no, you will not get high. This means that every single one of our products is safe to use, even with children.
Will CBD help my condition?

Federal regulations prohibit us from stating that CBD oil is designed to cure, treat, or prevent any disease or condition. We can simply say that CBD oil is a well-researched, safe, and proven complementary addition to many treatment plans for a host of symptoms and conditions. What is a tincture? How do I take a tincture?
Our CBD oil comes in tincture form. A tincture is a liquid concentrate made from an herb. This concentrate makes the active compounds in the herb stronger and readily available to the body.
To ingest a tincture, you must first shake it to reincorporate and blend the compounds. Then, place a full dropper of the tincture beneath your tongue. Your body will begin to absorb the tincture through the soft tissue of your mouth. Hold the tincture in your mouth for 60 seconds, and then swallow it.
Will I have any issues with a drug test from CBD?
CBD isolate products contain absolutely no THC whatsoever – not even remnants. With isolate products, a false positive is impossible. It’s just slightly less than impossible that full spectrum CBD will trigger a false positive on a drug test. Full spectrum CBD products contain a fraction of a percent of naturally occurring THC. This is not enough THC to cause a psychoactive effect when taken in recommended doses, even if the product is used daily.
Even at frequent doses, only 0.1% of full spectrum CBD users report false positives on drug tests. These results can be explained away or diminished with more comprehensive testing (gas chromatography-mass spectrometry drug testing), which will amend the results as a false positive.
While you should consume full spectrum CBD products at your own risk, the risk you’re assuming is relatively low. Always follow the package instructions when using full spectrum CBD products. If you have any concerns about CBD and drug testing, speak to your employer. If possible, mention gas chromatography-mass spectrometry testing before you take a drug test.

Most workplace and competitive sports drug screens focus on delta- tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and do not screen for Cannabinol (CBD) or other legal and natural hemp-based compounds. Be advised, studies have shown that consuming hemp foods or oils can cause a positive result when screening urine and blood specimens. Therefore, if you are subject any form of drug testing or screening we recommended (as does the United States Armed Services) that you DO-NOT ingest CBD or hemp oil. Prior to consuming these products please consult with your healthcare practitioner or your drug screening testing company or employer.

Do we have a physical Bear Necessities Co store/shop?
Not yet, hopefully one day! Operating exclusively online allows us to keep our overhead costs lower so we can give YOU OUR BELOVED CUSTOMERS the best price possible. It also gives us the opportunity to spend more time with our families.
Does Bear Necessities Co ship to all 50 states?
Because our CBD oil products contain less than the legally allowable maximum level of THC (0.3%), we are happily able to serve customers all around the country.
The United States Agricultural Act of 2014 (the “Farm Bill”) listed products derived from industrial hemp with a tetrahydrocannabinols (THC) concentration of not more than 0.3% on a dry weight basis as legal in all 50 states.

How long will it take to receive my order?
We will ship your order within 5 business days and depending on the shipping speed you choose your order will be delivered ASAP!

Will we ship to a PO Box?
Orders under $200 may be delivered to a PO Box. For orders over $200, we require a signature for delivery, so a physical address where someone will be available to receive and sign for the package is required. *This is to ensure you receive your order without any issues!

I received a tracking number but when I tracked the package it does not show it shipped?
Depending on our pre-scheduled mail pickup we may have assigned your order to a tracking number up to 72 hours prior to actual shipment. Once your order has left our warehouse and is on it’s way to you the tracking information will be updated.
Shipping to Canada?
Currently we are not shipping to Canada, as soon as we start again we will update our website and social media platforms!
Returns & Exchanges
Our Return Policy
If you are not satisfied, you may return the unused portion within 30 days for a full refund. There are no refunds offered after 30 days. If you wish to return your item please notify us via our customer service email RIGHT AWAY! CustomerService@BearNecessitiesCo.com
Once you have emailed us please ship the items to the address we email you. Include a note explaining the reason for the return.
Shipping and handling costs are never refundable. Refunds will be to the customer’s original form of payment in its entirety!
Need to change your order?
If it is WITHIN 24 hours of your order you may email us CustomerService@BearNecessitiesCo.com to discuss possible adjustments – nothing is guaranteed but we will try our hardest to make it happen!
If your order is damaged upon delivery we need you to notify us within 24 hours of the mail carrier’s timestamp of delivery, we also require an image of the damage WITHIN 24 HOURS OF DELIVERY. Once we receive your images we will send a replacement product RIGHT AWAY!
